Super Bock Arena – Pavilhão Rosa Mota

Super Bock Arena – Pavilhão Rosa Mota is a multi-purpose venue equipped with the most modern technologies, capable of hosting cultural, entertainment, sporting, and corporate events for up to 8,000 people

The Congress Center, located on level -1, includes a large amphitheater-style auditorium with seating for 532 people, an exhibition area of 617 m², and four flat rooms, each with 70 seats. These multifunctional rooms can be combined into two larger rooms with a maximum capacity of 150 seats.

Corporate events can also take place in the Arena’s main hall, increasing its capacity to up to 5,500 seated guests.

The retractable seating allows for multiple room configurations and customization options, as each event is unique.

The Arena’s main hall features a configurable flat multi-purpose area of up to 2,400 m². Above it, there are two balcony levels (1 and 2), complemented by 23 comfortable private boxes located along an intermediate level.

Reference Acoustics

To ensure excellent acoustics, in addition to covering the entire dome structure with multilayer rock wool exceeding 40 cm in thickness, an acoustic shell was installed near the top interior of the dome.

Virtually all interior surfaces of the main hall have been covered with carefully selected materials and systems designed to guarantee the best acoustic performance — because every detail matters!

Sustainability

Super Bock Arena – Pavilhão Rosa Mota is committed to reducing its ecological footprint and ensuring a positive impact on the world. To achieve this, systems have been implemented to improve energy efficiency and promote responsible use of resources.

  • Use of water from the lake in the Crystal Palace Gardens for the natural cooling of temperature control systems, reducing energy consumption and water usage by around 40%.
  • Efficient lighting systems, such as LED lamps.
  • Responsible practices in waste production and management, with a focus on reduction, reuse, and recycling.

Prime Location

The project establishes a new central hub. Its privileged location, just minutes from downtown Porto, provides easy access to a wide range of services, public transport options, and major road networks.

The redevelopment project of Super Bock Arena – Pavilhão Rosa Mota was inaugurated on October 28, 2019.
